I'd like to hear from any of you out there who are using Windows 3.11 or 3.11 for Workgroups with Warp 3 or the Beta 2. I've been running an Ultra33 for months under Win98 (and briefly - soon to be full time - under NT 5 beta 2) with no corruption at all. Win98 and NT 4 refused to install / work with my motherboard's CMD 646 EIDE controller (NT 4 crashed regularly and Win98 would install but would hang on any disk access)!

Bill F. I've run beta 2 and beta 3 rc0 on my 133 with 48MB and beta 2 was painful but rc0 was great. the speed was the same as nt4, just a bit more disk access, so indeed 64mb is a good idea. Plug and play was great too, it found everything but I didn't have drivers for a lot of stuff so... had to go back to nt4.

OS/2 2.1 was much better in performance. [I only qouted this cos this summs up your post quite nicely.] Personally, I think the beta is bril. and the only time it tends to slow down is dos sessions in a window, and visual basic apps that do a lot of disk access, but it's not much worse really.
