It is perceivably faster than Win 3.1, especially in screen redraws and disk access. I'm running the preview version of Windows 95 on a DX2/66 w/12 MEG RAM and it runs Personally, beta 2 build 224 was faster than warp on my system. Anything that has to do with disk access is considerably slower than W95. For example defragging hard disk in W98 [when using Fat32 I never tried it using Fat16 so I can't comment about that] takes approximately 2-5 time longer than W95. Beta 0 was better than BETA 1 which was better than BETA 2.
